Registered Massage Therapy
IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)
A set of handheld instruments are used to break down the scar tissue and fascial restrictions in soft tissues. Think of fascia as a never-ending 3D spider's web that connects our entire body.
Alleviates symptoms associated with limited/painful motion, coordination/muscle activation, or muscle recruitment issues like achilles tendinitis, IT band syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis with the use of instruments.
GTO Muscle Tension Release
GTOs are nerve receptors that monitor muscle tension and if they detect excessive load or stretch, they will cause your muscle to relax so you do not tear a tendon or muscle. When applied during treatment, with firm pressure for 30 seconds, your muscles relax to reduce tone and spasm.
Visceral Manipulation
The main aim is to restore movement to the tissues that surround and suspend our organs, thereby relieving tension and restriction in surrounding structures that can become painful as a result of changes in movement. This gentle, manual treatment addresses the soft tissue connections within and around the abdominal organs.
Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage
Swedish massage uses long strokes and light-to-firm pressure to provide gentle relaxation.

Deep tissue massage is a little more forceful, using a technique that releases tension deep in the muscles and connective tissues.
Neuromuscular (Trigger Point Therapy)
This is a specialized form of manual massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in a muscle. Strain areas are called tender or trigger points, and they tend to be the cause of ongoing muscular pain symptoms.
Myofascial Release Therapy
The technique focuses on pain believed to arise from myofascial tissues — the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles. The therapist locates myofascial areas that feel stiff and fixed instead of elastic and movable under light manual pressure.
Joint Mobilization
Joint mobilization is similar to chiropractic manipulation in that it is performed through a short range of motion and focuses on loosening deeper intrinsic ligaments and joint capsules.
Prenatal Massage
Increases blood flow and helps release the tension that can be brought on naturally by pregnancy. Getting good quality sleep becomes harder and harder as your pregnancy progresses. Prenatal massage relaxes the nervous system and releases feel good hormones.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is manual manipulation of the muscles geared specifically toward helping people who have physically demanding lifestyles and/or hobbies. This kind of therapeutic massage considers the impact of certain activities on specific joints, muscle groups, tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue groups.
Relaxation Massage
The title says it all! Are you stressed from work and life? Or simply just want a little TLC. Wellness comes in all shapes and forms, and at the top of everyone's list is a relaxing massage. Our practitioners will listen to you and your body to provide what you'll need to truly relax.
Neuro-Relaxation Therapy (NRT)
NRT is a manual treatment method that focuses on: realigning the skelton by relieving tissue tension and pain via gentle repetitive motions that relax the nervous system through neural circuits in the brain and spinal cord.
